What a snore of a post last week, huh?????????? Well, I haven't done much more this week, so, I don't know if this post will be any more exciting. I did ValenRAGE yesterday, but I'll write about that on Thursday, duh. I've also got things happening and semi-happening, but I have a tendency to blurt out the things happening and semi-happening and then when they don't happen anymore or at all, I feel like a dumbdumb.
Anyway, that picture up there on the left is something Joe Instagrammed last week. Hello Giggles has a lady-artist-only "Young Adult" gallery on display at Gallery 1988 in Los Angeles this month and I have never been more bummed to not be somewhere? Prints of Nancy Drew (FIRST OF ALL) and Sweet Valley High and The Baby-sitters Club and Goosebumps and all of our absolute favorite things to read growing up are on display across the country while I sit in my bed, watching The O.C. :( Joe was nice enough to send me some pictures as he walked through, and I've since checked out the gallery online, but it just isn't the same! I don't really read a whole lot these days, but I collected all evolutions of Nancy Drew and I might've had every single Baby-sitters Club book at some point and, while I liked the shows better than the books because duh TV <3, Sweet Valley High and Goosebumps were also my jams. Thank goodness I didn't spot any Animorphs prints or I would've thrown my eyeballs right into the trash so that my tears had more room to fall out. NOT ONLY ALL OF THAT, THOUGH, but my friend Steff has a piece in the show! And it's cute as heck! I'm pretty sure only one person from Los Angeles reads this, and he already went to this thing, but I'm saying that if you are a person not named Joe who lives near Gallery 1988 and haven't yet checked this thing out, I want you to go check this thing out. Maybe you'll like it as much as I would if I wasn't a borerline-hobo living on the wrong coast. (oh, and, but, the picture on the right is what is actually in my purse, ok)
Other than sighing that I'm not as close to moving to California as I'd like to be (re: this month, to see those arts), I watched Celeste and Jesse Forever :/, started enjoying the musical stylings of Taylor Swift :/ :/, and took a very long time making this Vine of my tights :/ :/ :/ I make terrible decisions, you guys.
Girl, I am really feeling you on this.
